About Us

Chain Runner is a unique OCR race set over a picturesque skyline where runners take on a course linked together and challenged not to BREAK THE CHAIN…

There is MUD, SAND and CRAZY OBSTACLES along with some of the best natural challenges you can find.

We hold two events… There is Chain Runner, a 10km race for over 18’s, and also our unique kid’s only event for kid`s between the age of 6-16.

How many people can be chained together?

We recommend 2 people chained together, however the choice is yours.

Can I run on my own?

Yes you can take on the course on your own.

Can I get a refund?

Unfortunately we don’t offer refunds.

Can I swap registrations?

Unfortunately once you have submitted your details, they cannot be changed.

Can I run for charity?

Yes you can run for our official charity, Claire House, or if you would like to run for your own charity we can supply sponsorship forms.

Do we have a contact number?

We don't offer telephone support. However we are available every day to answer questions by email or by message on Facebook. We look forward to hearing from you.

Chain Runner Cadets - FAQ

Can my two children run together?

Yes they can run together. Depending on their ages this will determine what race they can take part in. For example if you have a 7 year old and a 15 year old, they can only take part in the 2km race as the 7 year old is not old enough to take part in the 4km. Also an adult must be present with the 7 year old during the course.

How many children can run under one adult’s supervision?

Each person over the age of 18 can look after 4 children under the age of 10 during the race.

Can I run with my child?

Yes if you choose to take part as a team of two for example a mother and son, you only pay for your child’s place but both must sign the event waiver.

Do I have to sign a waiver for my child?

Yes you must sign a waiver for your child to take part. Every person who enters the course must sign a waiver. One parent/guardian can sign the waiver for them-self and 4 children to take part.

What are the minimum age limits?

The minimum age for the 2km race is 6 years old and the minimum age for the 4km race is 11 years old.

Can I swap registrations?
